The Kohala Village HUB is a community-based hub of facilities, programs, and services in the rural North Kohala area, on Hawai’i Island. The HUB’s diverse facilities are situated on 6 acres of centrally located land historically known as Luke's, in the heart of Hawi town.
Activities at the HUB are supported by three different entities: Feed Hawai'i (dba Kohala Village HUB) our education based 501c-3 non-profit manages educational community programs; the Kohala Village LLC operates our plantation style Inn and private events; and the Kohala Village HUB Pub and Shop LLC features the finest local produce and products through our tasty dishes, along with arts and craft pieces and other speciality items developed through the HUB's programs and partnerships (Pub and Shop opening in early 2016).
The foundations of our work are:
Food - Growing local food systems to feed our community.
Arts - Materializing novel ideas for community enrichment.
Culture - Celebrating and preserving Kohala's diversity in people.
Ecology - Sustaining a healthy environment through responsible practices.
We provide educational programs, guest services, and unique experiences to residents and visitors of all ages here at the HUB. EAT with us at our future PUB or pick up "Kohala Kine" treats in our shop, LEARN with us by attending one of our many community enrichment programs, or PLAY with us at one of our many community events and fundraiser that support the works of our non-profit.
